What to understand in Quadratic Equations
Factorization, formula and nature of roots. The goal is to understand the underlying relationship, recognise the type of problem or concept, and explain each step rather than memorising an isolated answer.

Solve x²−9=0.
Step 1: Difference of squares
Step 2: (x−3)(x+3)=0
Answer: x=3 or −3

A good tutor should verify whether the student can explain the method in their own words, apply it to a changed question, and identify common traps—not merely copy the worked steps.
